Meet the teachers and find your classroom. The PTO will have a table by the entrance with membership forms, spirit wear info and a sign-up sheet for the year.

An afternoon on the rink for Edgewater families. Bring the whole crew — siblings and grown-ups are welcome, and beginners are very welcome too.

Our first meeting of the school year — we'll walk through what's planned, what we need help with, and where the money goes. You don't need to be a member to come, and you don't have to volunteer for anything by showing up.

The Boosterthon program kicks off — students find out how it works and start collecting pledges ahead of the fun run on the 9th.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year. Students collect flat gifts or per-lap pledges, then run themed laps — dance laps, robot laps, and a few walking laps mixed in. Fourth and fifth graders finish with a color run. Family and friends are welcome to come cheer.
Every student runs regardless of registration — registration is only needed to collect donations.

Local organizations and services set up tables for Edgewater families. Drop in any time during the afternoon.

An evening of reading for families, straight after the Resource Fair.

Delivery and third-party orders don't count toward the event.

A glow-in-the-dark assembly, run grade by grade across the day. Find your student's start time below.
We need volunteers for both shifts: 8:30–10:30 AM and 12:30–2:30 PM. An hour or two is a real help.

Students parade in costume. Families are welcome to come and watch.

A parade for our dogs — bring yours along. Full details will come home with students closer to the date.

A themed dress-up day for every day of the last week before break. We post the theme list in advance so nobody gets caught out on pyjama day.
More dates coming. Trivia Night, International Night, the Sweetheart Dance, Bowling Night, Spring Fest and Teacher Appreciation Week all return this year — we'll post dates as they're confirmed.

Grades ran in waves from 9:30 AM to 2:45 PM, finishing with the 4th–5th grade color run. Local gold, silver and bronze sponsors covered a race shirt for every student.
10 Feb 2026
6:00–7:30 PM. Families built cultural displays, guests carried passports from table to table, and local businesses donated the light snacks.
4–8 May 2026
A different treat each day for teachers, cultural arts staff and support staff — planned from the “teacher favorites” lists we collect for every grade.
Gold, silver and bronze sponsors covered a race shirt for every single student at last year's Boosterthon. If you run a business in Edgewater and want in this year, tell us.
An hour at a water table is a real contribution. So is $15. So is showing up and cheering loudly.
